The Faust Act begins. It is London, 2014. Our protagonist, Laura, is making her way to Amaterasu's performance. WHile there, Amaterasu makes eye contact with the people in Laura's section causing people to pass out. Laura is the last to fall. And the first to wake up. Lucifier (Luci), is sitting beside her and, impressed, offers to take her backstage to meet Amaterasu. When they arrive, Amaterasu is giving an interview with a journalist named Cassandra. The interview devolves into chaos. In the middle a couple of zealots endanger the lives of everyone in the room, and in a fit of rage Luci does somethig that she will later come to regret.
